Advantages of Multi-metal Terminations for Non-Magnetic, High Temperature Solder Applications

Designers of RoHS compliant medical equipment circuitry requiring non-magnetic components are faced with limited metallization options. Traditionally, most equipment could be designed with nickel-barrier parts, however this does not work with non-magnetic applications. To address this issue, IMS has developed Ultra Leach Resistant (ULR) metallization.
